Welcome to Long Ashton Parish Council
Established in 1894, Long Ashton Parish Council is one of the oldest in the country. Serving around 6,556 residents, it supports the growing needs of Long Ashton and Leigh Woods communities.
The Parish Council, the closest level of local government to the community, makes decisions for the Parish, with North Somerset Council as the district authority. It has 21 elected members serving four-year terms and employs a Clerk for independent advice and support.
The Council aims to make Long Ashton and Leigh Woods better places to live, work, and visit.
